SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated August 25, 2026
Program description
The Nextgen Solar text program sends operational messages to customers and team members who explicitly opt in. Messages may include appointment and schedule changes, project and permit milestones, document-signing links and verification codes, assignment alerts, billing notices, and support replies. This is not a promotional marketing program.
How to opt in
Customers may opt in using the optional, unchecked text-consent box when registering or from Notifications in the customer portal. A customer may also send their assigned salesperson a clear written request or agreement to receive Nextgen Solar project texts at the customer's mobile number. Authorized staff may preserve a screenshot and record that customer's own written consent; staff cannot provide consent for the customer. Team members may opt in from their own account page. A person who previously opted out by text must text START to (240) 896-3323 before messages can resume. Consent applies only to the mobile number provided; a replacement number must opt in separately. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on project activity; most recipients receive 1–8 messages in an active month. Verification or time-sensitive service activity may generate additional messages. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out and help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation and then no further messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or contact the team through the customer portal's Support page. Standard commands such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, and START are also supported.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle mobile information and consent records. We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
